With creation of the Sky Spa, Hotel Terme Merano set new standards for wellness enthusiasts: The 3,200 square metre rooftop spa is the highlight of the hotel. The rooftop wellness oasis offers 360-degree panoramic views of Merano and the mountains of South Tyrol. Guests can relax in the Sky Spa as well as take an outdoor dip in the heated 22-metre-long brine infinity pool, do a workout in the state-of-the-art fitness area or enjoy the panoramic saunas or steam bath. The Sky Spa is open to guests aged 14 and over.

The Garden Spa, situated on the ground floor, boasts indoor and outdoor pools, relaxation areas, a dress on sauna, a steam bath with a view of the palm garden and a whirlpool for the whole family. The Thermal Baths of Merano, which can be reached directly via a “bathrobe tunnel”, also offer 15 indoor and 11 outdoor pools, relaxation rooms and a thermal park with 5 hectares.

Chef Karlheinz Falk and his team serve South Tyrolean specialties and creative national and international creations, accompanied by regional and international wines in the restaurant Olivi. The show kitchen allows guests to take a look over the shoulder of the kitchen team at any time. A sumptuous breakfast buffet and a multi-course evening meal of choice are available for those who have chosen the half board option. The Bistro La Piazza and the glass cube in the middle of Therme Square are a successful mix of modern lines and the charm of a Parisian bistro. Here, in the afternoon hours, refined and light dishes are served against a dreamlike backdrop. In the evening, guests can enjoy a refreshing drink in the hotel’s own cocktail bar Palm Lounge, which is also popular with Merano locals and a place where live music awaits on the weekends.
